Early on, I introduced you to a certain table at my workplace. (post: 'The Sweetest Taste') Remember - the one that collects treats and sweets of all kinds? It has begun...again...to fill up with leftover Thanksgiving pies and Christmas goodies. Added to the mix today was one of my personal favorites - chewy brownies made just right. There were 3 of them when I got here 7 hours ago and now it's down to one - not by my doing.
So, this is what I have to do to avoid the temptations during this next month. Nothing will go in my mouth that comes from that table - UNLESS - it is the lunch I have prepared. It's all or nothing. If I allow for a little bit here and there - or go back to eating "no calorie" crumbs, I will not be a very happy girl come 2012. I know myself - a weak moment and/or high stress - two brownies down the hatch no problem.
How do you manage the enormous amount of sweets this time of year?
